Thanks in part to Hollywood, but also just American culture in general and the story we have told ourselves about the American cowboy for the past hundred years or so. As Americans we have been programmed to trust someone in a cowboy hat. This is why when you go to many state capitol buildings when their legislature is in session you will see many politicians and lobbyists wearing them.Â
Always be weary around someone wearing a suit and a cowboy hat. They want you to trust them for a reason.Â
